Cantley Community Coffee Shop meets at Cantley Methodist Church, but it is not a church organization. It is run by volunteers and its aims are as follows: to provide a place to make friends, especially for those who might not meet many people during the week. to provide some entertainment to encourage gentle exercise, healthy eating and personal security to provide some information about health and safety matters to provide information about local support services, and about what is going on in the neighbourhood and the town.
Over a limited area, transport to and from the church is provided by Leger Bus for those who cannot reach the church by themselves. External speakers provide the health information and some of the entertainment.
